Shop local! Join us for a one-day holiday shopping event with a large variety of some of your favorite products!

The One Stop Holiday Shop is a fundraiser to help The Training Centre - GTTI to sustain vital programs that support community members in achieving their training and employment goals.

Admission is a $1 donation to The Training Centre - GTTI or a non-perishable food items donation to the Georgina Community Food Pantry.

Registration:

Registration will take 2-3 hours in person and will include:

             presentation;

             literacy assessment;

             personal interview;

             payment and documentation

Course Dates:  February 1, 2018 to Mid-October 2018    

Program:  Obtain a PSW Certificate and up to 7 Ontario Secondary School credits  In-class Theory:   5 months covering the PSW Program Standards and Additional Certifications Full-time placements:  June to July 2018 and September to October 2018             

Cost: $1100 due upon registration payable by Cash, Money Order, Debit, Visa or MasterCard. Cheques cannot be processed. 

Eligibility:  

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Be physically and mentally able to complete the duties of PSW without restrictions
  • Be able to get to and from designated clinical placement site
  • Be able to provide a clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check at the time of placement

A local artist will guide you through creating your own holiday themed masterpiece to take home!

No Experience Necessary! All materials provided. 

The cost is $45/person and the event will be licensed, with drinks available at an additional cost. A light snack will be provided.

Busing will be provided for safe transportation home if required.

New training requirements apply to workers who use any of the following methods of fall protetion:

-Travel Restraint System
-Fall Restricting Systems
-Fall Arrest Systems
-Safety Belts & Work Belts

This training meets the new Ministry of Labour's Working at Heights Training Program.
