The Smart Serve Training Program has been designed to promote the responsible service of alcohol as it pertains to the current liquor laws in the Province of Ontario.

This training program provides valuable information to individuals on the responsible service and sale of alcohol beverages.  It will enable you to take a pro-active approach to serving alcohol responsibly.

The Smart Serve Program is to provide a standard method of delivering a responsible service training certificate program to all individuals in the province of Ontario who serve or work where alcohol beverages are sold and served    

This program is for:

• servers, bartenders, managers, licensees
•  door staff, security
•  golf course marshals
•  convention and special event planners
•  anyone who is involved in an event where alcohol is served

Our program will also be of benefit to the owners and operators who rent their facilities for Special Events, such as:

•  Church Halls

•  Arenas
• Outdoor facilities

• Prevention and intervention techniques

Upon completion of the program – individuals will be aware of:

• their responsibilities and obligations under the law
• proactive approaches to preventing alcohol-related problems
• how to recognize signs of intoxication
• how to implement intervention strategies for aggressive customers
